William Herbert "Bill" Deveraux passed away June 14, 2016 at Heritage Hills Rehab and Care Center in Nephi, Utah after a long battle with cancer and other related medical problems.
Bill was born November 14, 1956 at Francis E. Warren Air Force Base in Cheyenne, Wyoming to Wm Jack Deveraux and Ida L. (Haws) Deveraux.
He grew up on various military bases until he was 14 years old and settled in Salem, Utah. He graduated from Spanish Fork High School being active in football, baseball, and basketball since grade school. Bill excelled at writing poetry and mechanical drawing, earning awards in high school.
He entered the Army shortly after graduation, then excelled in the Healthcare Field as a Pharmacy Technician at the Utah State Training School in American Fork, Utah and Direct Care at the Wyoming State Training School in Lander, Wyoming. He was forced into an early retirement due to health problems.
He was a member of the LDS church, which was an important part of his life.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Anita Bullock Deveraux, his baby daughter, Kylie Deveraux, and his mother, Ida L. Deveraux.
He is survived by his children: Jennifer (Brian) Keiper, Will (Rany Seiha) Deveraux, and Billy (Kelly) Deveraux; his grandchildren: Caleb, Bethany, and Aidan Keiper; Kaeden and Allie Deveraux; and Madilyn Deveraux; his father, Jack Deveraux; his brother, Sterling (Cassandra) Deveraux; his sisters, Debbie (Kent) Curtis, Melody (Steve) Oliphant, and Charla (Bill) Mayo; and his step-sisters Jacque Wasson, and Jalene (Bill) Leach; numerous nephews and nieces, aunts and uncles, and cousins.
