Wanis Salem

Wanis Ramzi Salem, age 50, died unexpectedly July 24, 2021 in Salt Lake City, Utah. He was born August 13, 1970, in Amman Jordan, son of Jeanette Salem and the late Ramzi Salem. He lived in Italy in his formative years and then moved to Salt Lake City. Wanis attended University of Utah studying architecture. He was a successful business owner, following in his father's footsteps, with European Marble and then Cutting Edge Stone.



The joy of his life were his two daughters Nicole and Isabelle. He brought joy and comfort with his smile, sincerity, and humor to everyone in his path. He will be deeply missed by his surviving family: mother, Jeanette Salem; and brothers Ra'ed Ramzi Salem and family and Khaled Ramzi Salem.



Funeral services will be held Saturday, July 31, 2021 at St Jude Maronite Catholic Church, 5445 S 2700 W, Taylorsville, UT. Viewing at 10:00. Funeral services at 10:30. Services will be live-streamed at Legacy Funerals & Cremations Facebook page (link located at the bottom). Interment will be at Salt Lake Cemetery directly following.
