Valeri Heath

Valeri Lucille Tolman Heath, 58, died peacefully in her sleep on Saturday April 20, 2013 after a short but valiant battle with pancreatic cancer.



Valeri was born January 20, 1955 in Lynwood California to Donald and Lucille Tolman. She graduated from Yuciapa High School in 1973. After spending her life raising her family, she returned to school to earn her Bachelor's Degree in Healthcare Administration from Stevens Henagar College in 2011. Valeri enjoyed reading, watching movies and crocheting. She especially loved spending time playing with her grandchildren, animals, and traveling. She will always be remembered for her great capacity for compassion and her gentle heart.



Valeri is survived by her husband, Christopher Heath (Stafford, England) father, Donald Tolman (Spanish Fork, UT) brothers Stephen (Christine) Tolman (Springville, UT) and Craig (Karen) Tolman (Yuciapa, CA) sister Lori (Derek) Powell (Spanish Fork, UT) children Bryan Payne (Kalispell, MT), Dan (Liza) Payne (Lehi, UT), Jason (Delmy) Payne (Spanish Fork, UT), Amanda (Jeremy) Green (Lehi, UT), Richard "Dylan" Simons (Springville, UT) and 16 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother Lucille Jane Johnson Tolman.



Funeral services will be held Friday, April 26, 2013 at 2:00PM at the LDS Spanish Fork South 12 Ward building located at 310 East Center Street, Spanish Fork, UT 84660. Close friends and family may visit at a private viewing from noon to 1:30 at the same address prior to the funeral.

Her family would like to give special thanks to the doctors and nursing staff at American Fork Hospital, Sunrise Home Hospice, Stacy Hales and JoAnn Centeno for all of the excellent care and compassion you gave to both Valeri and her family during her final weeks.
