Val Dee Roberts born April 25 1936 in Roosevelt Utah to McHilton & Lexia Erma Johnson Roberts. He was the fourth of six children. They lived in Cedarview, Utah until the family moved to Springville, Utah. He attended and graduated from Springville, Utah schools. He loved hunting and fishing with family.\n\nHe joined the United States Army in 1954 and was stationed in Yokohama Bay and Fukuoka, Japan for 18 months.\n\nHe married Joyce Hill June 8, 1957 and together they had six children. Peggy (Fred Chavez) American Fork, Utah, Gary Roberts (Clarissa) Fountain Green, Utah, Kevin Roberts, Ogden, Utah, Darla (Scott Shepherd) Spanish Fork, Utah, Janine (Garth Jacklin) Lehi, Utah, and Sara (Darien Carter) Spanish Fork, Utah.\n\nThey were later divorced. He then married Valorie Pulley and they had two children together. Norman Roberts, Evan (Sherry) Roberts. He has many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.\n\nHe worked at Spanish Fork Foundry, Backman Foundry, and Macka Supply for many years. \nHe was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints.\n\nHe is survived by his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, and one brother, Alvin Roberts of Springville, Utah. He was proceeded in death by his parents, one grandchild, one great-grandchild, and his siblings Maxine, Velma, Blaine, and Leslie.\n\nFuneral services will be held Saturday, June 22, 2019 at 11 a.m. at the Spanish Fork 2nd Ward Church, 541 W Center St Spanish Fork Utah.
