Tydus Robert Scott Hicks passed away on Saturday December 22nd after a long fought battle with depression. Tydus was born on September 5th 1997 to his parents Adrienne Scott and Antonio Hicks.
Tydus lived most of his life in Payson Utah where he went to school. He made many friends as he was very friendly and outgoing. Tydus loved to play sports and was a natural athlete, he especially loved to play football like his father Tony. He was a friend to many but especially to his 3 brothers who loved him very much.
Tydus had an opportunity to spend a couple of months in Alabama this past year with his Father Tony which he cherished.
Tydus enjoyed hiking, fishing and catching tadpoles. He loved spending time with his family and will be dearly missed by so many family members who loved him unconditionally.
Tydus had a huge heart and was always there for his family when difficult situations arose, he was always there wanting to understand others points of view and was always willing to help. Tydus was very compassionate and always willing to forgive others. In his last days here on earth his final act of love was donating his heart and lungs to others.
Tydus is survived by his loving Mother, Adrienne Scott and Father, Antonio Hicks, his three younger brothers, Xavier, Willis and Izayah. He is also survived by his maternal grandparents, Robert and Sherrie Scott, his Paternal Grandmother, Carolyn Hicks as well as many Aunts, Uncles and Cousins who will miss him so much. He was preceded in death by his Paternal Grandfather, Mose Hicks Sr. and his Uncle Jacob Scott and many more distant relatives.
A viewing will be held at the Greenridge Ward LDS building located at 711 S 600 E Payson Utah on Friday January 3rd 9:30-10:30 am with the funeral service following at 11:00 am.
