Trudy Cook

Our beloved mother, wife, daughter, sister, and grandma Trudy Peterson Cook returned to her Father in Heaven on Friday April 5th, 2024, after years of battling with Alzheimer’s. 

She was born March 9, 1958, to George and Theda Peterson in Rigby, ID. She graduated from Spanish Fork High School. 

Trudy married her eternal companion, Noel in 1995. Noel adopted Trudy’s daughter, Tasi in 1996. The couple welcomed twins, Sage and Makele to the family in 1997.

Trudy enjoyed her years working at Alpine School district. She was always reading a book. She loved music. Her favorite pastime was spending time with Noel, exploring the most remote parts of the outdoors. They spent many days traveling the deserts and mountains. 

Trudy will be missed but she is now back with her parents and brother and will no longer have to suffer from this insidious disease. May the choicest blessings of our Father in Heaven, and our Savior, Jesus Christ, be with us all, as we remember and celebrate Trudy’s life. May peace, love, gratitude, joy, and happiness be with each of us during this temporary separation from our beloved sister.

Trudy is survived by her husband Noel J. Cook, daughters Tasi Frampton, Brenna Cook, Makele Cook, Sage Willow, and grandkids Halle, Dante, and Raven. Her siblings Shannon (Kerry) Openshaw, Barbara Peterson, Stephen (Phyllis), Kelly (Sherry), Rick, Scott (Bonnie) and Melanie. 

Trudy is preceded in death by parents George and Theda Peterson and brother Kim Peterson. 

Interment will be at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, UT 84660.
