Trina Loraine Hunsaker Gardner, 57, passed away on December 28, 2014 into the arms of her loving Heavenly Father at her home in American Fork.
Trina was born in Delta, Utah on March 30, 1957 to Howard Glen and Elsie Talbot Hunsaker. Trina graduated from Spanish Fork High School and cosmetology school. She married Rodney Gardner on August 6, 1976. They lived in Mississippi, Illinois and California while in the US Air Force and returned to Utah when Rod retired. She worked as Financial Aide Director at Provo College and Eagle Gate College. She was currently employed in financial aid at MATC in Lehi, UT.
She is survived by her husband Rodney Gardner, daughter Janae Gonzalez (Tony), son Glen Gardner (Kelsey), father Howard Hunsaker, 5 siblings and 8 grandchildren.
She was a member of the LDS church and enjoyed teaching and making crafts as enrichment leader. She liked sewing, crocheting and cooking. Trina's greatest joys were her children, grand-children and spending time at "The Ranch," particularly having the annual chili cook-offs and visiting with friends and family.
A viewing will be held on Saturday Jan. 3, 2015 at the LDS Church on 928 Del Monte Road (off of Arrowhead Trail) in Spanish Fork, Utah from 9-10am, followed by funeral services at 10:30 am.
