Trapper Jay Kinross entered this world in Provo Utah on April 6 2005, a precious Blond haired baby boy being only 19" long weighing in at 6 lbs. 6 ounces & just as handsome as could be! He was welcomed by his parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles & a bunch of cousins whom had anxiously awaited his arrival! Trapper was only a baby for a short time because this kid could not wait to grow up and do all the adult things … And he did!
He was a great wrestler, an avid hunter and hounds man & a hard working ranch hand. He could ride the rough off any ol’rank horse you put him on. Trapper loved the outdoors, camping, branding cows, hunting, chasing Lion & Bear, trapping & fishing, ridding horses & being in his saddle 'cowboying' on the mountain! Trapper learned several trades in his short time such as being a Ferrier, welding, plumbing, mechanic, training dogs, breaking horses, gathering & branding cattle with family.
Trapper was a big help with whatever was needed, he loved to follow his Momma around talking & telling stories like a little shadow. He was his sisters Hero & favorite Big Bruvva & of course, Daddy’s hunting partner & his hardworking right hand man! He could build & weld just about anything & everything and he was an amazing 'big machine' operator too! He could and did anything he set his mind toward and always did his best at everything he did! Trapper had many accomplishments, even graduating high school a year early because he couldn’t wait to get out in the workforce.
He played hard and worked even harder! Trapper is so good looking with such a handsome smile. His laugh is so contagious & he was so FUN to be around & 'hang out' with! He was generally the Life of every party or any get together. You could usually find him sitting with the older adults telling story after story - soon the entire crowd congregated around him & always got a good giggle. He never met a stranger, everyone was his friend!
He loved with all he had. He was strong, brave, and he stuck up for what was right at all costs. He loved the 3 little red heads (his little sisters) & protected them along with all of his loved ones. He never left anyone’s house without hugs, a respectful hand shake or an “I love you”! He was wise beyond his years and there was nothing he wouldn’t do for anyone. All you had to do was ask and he was the first to show up and the last to leave when the work was done!
God calls us home when he needs us the most, he must have needed Trapper’s strength in a bad way to take him so soon.
We know and have faith that Trapper did not hesitate when God called upon him. We know Trapper courageously shook Gods hand and said “How can I help you today?
