Tiffany Lynn (Timmins) Bartholomew, our loving wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend passed away on December 9, 2018 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah, after a courageous battle with cancer.
Tiffany was born on March 29, 1984 at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center in Provo, Utah, and resided in Utah County all her life. She married Todd Aaron Bartholomew on July 29, 2005 in the Manti Utah Temple, and in 2013 they were excited and blessed to add their beautiful daughter Evalina Aurora to their family.
Family -- especially children -- meant everything to Tiff. She loved her family with all her heart, and her testimony of eternal families and the gospel of Jesus Christ was very strong. As a life-long member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, she enjoyed attending the temple, reading her scriptures, and serving in her various church callings.
Though Tiff was always the quietest among her group of loud sisters, she was quite the adventurer. In high school she took a class trip to Costa Rica; following her high school graduation she and her sister Terra went to teach English in Russia; and she and Todd made a couple of trips to Europe, visiting many European countries, and even Egypt and Morocco.
Tiff's happy smile could light up any room, and she was very humble. If she wasn't feeling well, she never liked to say so. She always insisted she was fine and didn't want anyone to worry about her. She enjoyed quilting, playing the piano, refinishing furniture, and hiking, and she enjoyed sharing her talents with others.
For the last fifteen years Tiffany worked in a variety of positions at Macey's Grocery Store in Provo, Utah. It was there that she met Todd (he worked there as a grocery stocker at the time, and all her sisters and friends liked to joke that she was dating a "stalker"). She really enjoyed interacting with all her co-workers and customers.
Tiffany is survived by her husband Todd and her daughter Evalina; her parents, Doug Timmins of Orem, Utah, and Roxy (Bruce) Abbott of Springville Utah; her four sisters, Candice (Steve) Hyde of Pocatello, Idaho, Terra (Andy) Costin of Carlsbad, New Mexico, Connie (David) Sugiyama of Castle Rock, Colorado, Corinne (Matthew) Goodman of Tucson, Arizona; her grandmother, Zoe Timmins of La Jara, Colorado.
We are grateful to know that Tiffany is free of her suffering and back in the presence of her Heavenly Father, though everyone who knew and loved her will miss her greatly.
A memorial will be held on Monday, December 17 at 11:00am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints chapel located at 505 East 900 North in Spanish Fork, Utah. There will be a viewing from 10:00-10:40am at the same location.
The family would like to express our gratitude to the dozens of doctors, nurses, and others at Utah Valley Regional Medical Center who contributed to Tiff's care over the last several weeks and made things as comfortable for her as possible.
