An angel returned to Heaven on June 8, 2014. From the day Sydni Lynne Taylor was born on February 21, 1992, she brought comfort, peace, happiness and joy to all she came in contact with. Shortly after she was born she was diagnosed with a rare condition called ataxia telangiectasia, a neurodegenerative disease that affects mobility and brain function. Despite not being able to walk, Sydni brightened the lives of everyone she came into contact with. Her mother, Tammy Lynne Taylor, raised Sydni all of her life. Sydni was not able to attend public school since the fourth grade, so Sydni's mother homeschooled her. Sydni was a ray of sunshine and will be greatly missed by all that knew her. Survivors include her mother Tammy Lynne Taylor, Spanish Fork; her father Steven J Baum, Provo; Brothers Zachary Taylor (Angela), Orem; Brandon Baum, Benjamin, UT; and many other Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, friends and "Keet Allen Taylor". Sydni was preceded in death by baby sister Carlee and her grandparents. Special thanks to Lorraine Allen, her nurse and second mom. Also to all the other health care professionals that cared for Sydni.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 11, 2014 at 1p.m. in the LDS Chapel on 310 E Center Street, Spanish Fork. A viewing will be held prior to services from 11-12:45p.m in LDS Chapel. Interment will be held in the Delta City Cemetery. A motorcycle escort will travel from the Spanish Fork Chapel to Delta Cemetery following the church service.
