Sue Passed away peacefully at home after a long illness. She often shared stories of her life. Her favorite was of being a teenager watching a small, unknown garage band, The Beach Boys. But her pride was her family. She was ever present at family gatherings with her much requested yams and fruit salad. She also loved her trips to the beach and Disneyland but especially her traditional trips taking the grandkids pumpkin hunting every Halloween.
She is survived by her loving husband Carl E. Ward, brother James (Louise) Hammer, son William (Tracey) Shaffer, daughter Valerie (Troy) Bangert, step kids Carey, Jarod, Tamera & Trisha, numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and amazing friends.
She's having a joyous reunion with family and friends in heaven.
A special thanks to her daughter Valerie and son in law Troy, her grandkids Robert, Karen, Derek and Brittany for dropping everything to help at a moments notice. No matter the chore or reason they always came through for her.
To her loving, devoted husband Carl. We all know that she loved you and appreciated you being by her side through all these years.
