Steven Warren Spriggs
May 18, 1984 - August 21, 2022
Steven Warren Spriggs was born May 18, 1984 in Provo, Utah, to Alan and Lynette Spriggs. The youngest of four children, Steven completed their dynamic family.
Steven unexpectedly, and peacefully, passed away in his home in West Jordan on August 21, 2022 at the young age of 38.
He grew up in Coalville Utah, where with his extensive network of family and friends, he developed interests in gaming, music, electronics, comics, superheroes, zombies, and a great passion for art.
After graduating from the North Summit School district. He continued his education in the medical field, earning several certifications including Medical Assisting, Radiology, and earning his Bachelor's degree in Respiratory Therapy.
Steven had such a gentle calming presence, and was always taking care of others. Steven found his calling in being a Respiratory Therapist, and working at Neuro Restorative Care Center with pediatric patients. He loved his work family, and all the patients he cared for. Steven's ability to care for others extended to all that were lucky
enough to know him.
Steven was a friend to all whom he encountered, and family was always the most important to Steven, and friends were always considered family to him. He had gone on many adventures and trips with his parents, siblings, and his closest friend Ken. Steven was known as the "fun uncle" to all his 4 nieces and 5 nephews. He lived to spoil them, sugar them up, and send them home. He always made sure they knew how important
they were to him.
Steven was a creative and talented artist from a young age, he enjoyed going to concerts, drawing, painting, and pottery. He always had his own flair for life, and lived life in his own unique style, and was always known for wearing his famous scrub bottoms and band t-shirts.
Who Steven was in life, can not be defined or summarized by any one thing in life, as he was something truly unique and different to each person, in all of whom he encountered, and he holds his own place in their hearts, as his own.
Steven is survived by his parents Alan and Lynette Spriggs, brothers Brian (Vikki) Spriggs, Brent (Joy) Spriggs, and sister Sandra (Dusty) France, his best friend Kenneth Hollinger, and 9 nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be held Saturday Aug 27, 2022 at the Coalville Stake Center, 40 N. Main street, Coalville Utah. There will be a viewing from 10:00am - 12:00pm and funeral services will begin at 12:00pm. A luncheon will follow the services.
**Those who wish to, are welcome to wear their favorite scrubs, or favorite appropriate band/superhero T-shirts, in honor of Steven's unique sense of style.
