Stephen Arthur Wing, age 71, of Spanish Fork, Utah, died on June 17, 2015 at his home after a long battle with cancer. He was born in Provo, Utah on March 16, 1944 to John and Ella Wing also of Provo. He served in the armed forces and then on to a LDS mission in New Zealand. He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints and had been working very hard to get back to the temple, which he did. He had also been doing a lot of genealogy, which he really enjoyed.
Stephen was always cheerful and kind to everyone and would make a new friend anywhere he went. Even with all the pain and suffering from the cancer, he never once complained. He loved going to the mountains to take pictures. His favorite things in life were his children, grandchildren and cameras. He also loved hunting, fishing, camping, rock climbing and family. He will be missed by all.
He is survived by his children Matt Wing, Mike Wing, Greg Wing, Ethan Wing and Janessa Wing; grandchildren Sage, Ryker, Landon and Leighton all of Spanish Fork, Utah and sister Annette Taylor of Provo, Utah.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Monday, June 22, 2015 at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, 650 West 400 North, Spanish Fork, Utah. There will be a viewing from 10:00 to 11:00 am prior to services at the church. Interment will be at the American Fork Cemetery.
