"The true and living GOD who gave her life on January 23, 1926, in Mazapil,Mexico, took his daughter, Sofia V. Hernandez back home on 26 October 2014 at 10:25 p.m. Peacefully she slipped away into eternity from her residence in American Fork, UIah where she lived with her cousin,Olga Hernandez Talanoa and her husband Ekalesia Talanoa.
Maria Vasquez Garcia, died giving life to her daughter Sofia, whose father Jose Garcia died shortly after. She was preceded in death by her husband Manuel Hernandez. Sofia is survived by her sister Evita and her brother Jose Garcia both living in Saltillo, Coahuilla, Mexico. The highlight of her life, was choosing during her serious illness, to be baptized by E. Talanoa, on 19 September 2014, in the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints."
