Roger Hansen

Roger Lynn Hansen passed away Monday, December 23, 2013 at his home in Prineville, Oregon. He was born in Spanish Fork, Utah on February 11, 1953 to Sam J. and Ruby Biggs Hansen. Spanish Fork was his hometown and he graduated High School there. As a teenager he worked for various farmers in the area. He married Lucille Beckstrom and they had 5 children together (later divorced). He joined the United States Army, served faithfully and received an honorable discharge. He loved old trucks, fishing at Scofield and music.



He is survived by his 5 children; Ralph Brad Hansen (Jodi) and Roger Lynn Hansen Jr. (Alaura) both of Springville, Brandon Jay Hansen of Orem, Bianca Jo Cottam (Brian) of Mapleton and Alexandria Beveridge (Bill) of Duchesne, his mother, Ruby B. Hansen, his sister, Jill Talbot, 21 grandchildren and 1 great-grandchild.



He was preceded in death by his father, Sam J. Hansen, a brother, Gary S. Hansen, a sister, Rhochelle Scott and a nephew, TJ Scott.



A viewing will be held Friday, January 3, 2014, 10:00-10:45 am with the funeral following at 11:00 am. LDS church located at 1006 E 200 S Spanish Fork. Interment in the Spanish Fork Cemetery with military honors.
