Robert Talbot

Robert "Sandy Bob" James Talbot of Palmyra, Utah was taken from his family at the age of 65 in a tragic car accident on Thursday, August 10 in Springville, Utah.



Robert was born on September 30, 1951 to Basil and Geraldine Talbot. He was the second of eightchildren and is survived by five brothers and two sisters. He married his beautiful wife of 45 years, Linda Garlick Talbot, on February 18, 1972. She gave him 3 wonderful children: Cory, Shannon, and Shawn. He is survived by 8 grandchildren, 7 great grandchildren, his mule Max, and his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents Basil and Geraldine Talbot, his son Shawn Talbot, and many others. They will all be missed.



Robert was a cowboy tothe core and truly belonged in the old West. He had many friends who gave him the name Sandy Bob, and he would rather have been out on the trail with his mule and buddies than anywhere else. He was the class clown of life and would go through great lengths to make people laugh. Although he had his many faults and made mistakes like the rest of us, he was the kind of person who would give the shirt off his back and was always there to take care of his family andfriends.



The viewing will be held on Wednesday evening from 6:00pm to 8:00 pm at the Palmyra church on the corner of 5000 s 1850 w Spanish Fork, Utah. The funeral services will be held the next day at 11 am. A viewing will be held before the funeral from 10:00 to 10:45 am.
