Richard Taylor Hansen, 71, passed away Wednesday, November 26, 2014 in Orem, UT. He was born September 28, 1943 in Los Angeles, CA to Richard Tamisiea and Glenda LaVerde Dorton Taylor Hansen.
Richard graduated from Glendale High School in 1961 and then attended Brigham Young University.
He was a member of the LDS Church and served a full time mission in the Western States Mission.
He served in the US Air Force during the Vietnam war and was honorably discharged from the service in 1969. Richard married Sharon Lomax February, 1, 1974 in the Salt Lake Temple. He worked as a clerk for the U.S. Postal Service and retired in 2000. He loved his family and enjoyed yearly summer vacations. Richard is survived by his wife and two daughters, Shauna and Kathy(Eric), and three grandchildren, Jaxson, Addison and Camden. He was preceded in death by his parents.
