Rex Rose

Rex Lynn Rose, 65, of Spanish Fork Utah passed away Thursday, May 24, 2018, surrounded by his family. He was born January 29, 1953 in Payson, Utah to Lawrence J. and Mae Johnson Rose. He spent his life in the Spanish Fork community and was a graduate of Spanish Fork High School.



Rex married Denise Tanner and they are the parents of three amazing children. They were later divorced but remained dear friends. Rex loved his children and was so proud of their accomplishments.



Rex was a life-long member of the Iron Workers Union and was later employed by Interwest Mechanical in Springville for 15 years. He loved welding, rebuilding his hot-rod, boating, and was also known as the neighborhood caretaker.



Rex is survived by his children, Danielle Lynn Rose; Matthew Lawrence Rose (Shantel); and McKensie Denise Ocana (Joe); 7 grandchildren whom he adored; and two brothers, Larry A (Maxine) Rose and Paul J. (Linda) Rose. He was preceded in death by his parents, Lawrence J. Rose and Mae J. Rose.



Graveside services will be held Wednesday, May 30, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Fork City Cemetery, 420 South 400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah. Family and friends may visit on Wednesday from 9-10:30 a.m. at Legacy Funeral and Cremations, 3595 North Main, Spanish Fork, Utah, prior to the service at the cemetery.
