Peggy Ann Underwood

Peggy Ann Underwood passed away January 25, 2024, after a short illness in Springville, Utah. She was born June 4, 1951 to Junior & Bonnie Williams Underwood in Spanish Fork, Utah. 

Peggy’s school years were spent in Springville, Tooele and Provo, where the friends she made lasted a lifetime. She married John Cobbley in 1968 they had a daughter Sabrina Lee, they later divorced. 

Peggy was a welder, carpenter and self taught mechanic. She had a varied life style and there were many times her brain was two steps behind what she said. This caused a few embarrassing moments and many laughs. She loved to fish and spent many days at Strawberry Reservoir with Kay and Dave. Her fishing pole was always near at hand in her rusty pickup. Her hobbies were varied from beautiful needle work to keeping her own truck running.

Peggy is survived by her siblings, Kay (Dave) Larsen, Provo, UT; Eddie (Peggy Lewellyn) Underwood, Fairview, UT; Kim (Curtis) Otterson, Springville, UT; Brad (Kristy) Woodhouse, Price, UT. She is preceded in death by her father, Junior Underwood, mother Bonnie Williams Woodhouse.

Memorial services will be held at Legacy Funerals & Cremations on Thursday, February 1, 2024. A viewing will be held at 2:00 pm, with the funeral at 3:00 pm.  A Celebrations of Life will be held this summer.
