Olive Annie J. Bowman, age 91, of Spanish Fork passed away on Monday, Oct. 14, 2013. Born to Arthur S. & Lilly J. Johnson she is one of ten siblings. Olive is preceded in death by her husband, Vince J. Bowman; Parents; and Clark, Margaret, Kelley, Arthur and Mae. She is survived by Dawn Peery, Fred, Scott and Shirl Johnson.
She served in the U.S. Navy from May 1944 to May 1946. She worked and lived in California for the next 50 years. She came home to Utah in 1997 where she spent the rest of her life.
She spent many thousands of volunteer hours as a "Pink Lady" for the Salvation Army in a California hospital serving meals. She gave money to Smile Train & All Sight charities to help children with cancer. She helped many people further themselves in education. She also served ten years as a "Pink Lady" in the Payson Hospital and she loved all the people she worked with there. At only 90 years young of age, she had to retire due to a stroke.

Olive will be dearly missed. She was a dear friend and a beautiful lady always ready with a helping hand. Our sincere condolence to her family whom she dearly loved and cherished.
