Marilyn Collings

October 18, 1937 — March 26, 2019

Marilyn Ruth Headman Collings, age 81, of Payson, Utah passed away March 26, 2019 in Orem, Utah.

Marilyn was born on October 18, 1937 in Spanish Fork, Utah to Jesse and Ruth Headman, She was the oldest of 4 children. She was raised in Spanish Fork, Utah to Jesse and Ruth Headman where she attended Spanish Fork High School.

Marilyn married Ronald Jay Lee and had 4 children, they later divorced. She then married Garold W Collings and they had 4 children.

Marilyn was a very strong, brave, beautiful, funny and kind woman. She had the biggest heart and loved everyone she met. Her door was always open and she accepted everyone without judgement.

Mom loved camping, fishing, gardening, crocheting, sewing but most of all spending time with her family. Mom was very talented and through the years showered her family with gifts that were sewn, crocheted, or handmade. She also loved spending time out in her yard planting flowers and just playing in the dirt.

Mom had the gift of gab and would talk endlessly to anyone that she came in contact with. She had so many stories to tell. She was the "gossip" queen of the family - if you wanted to know anything (or even if you didn't) she was the one to go to.

Mom loved her family with all her heart and was the definition of unconditional love. She will be greatly missed by all she came in contact with.

Marilyn was preceded in death by her husbands, father, mother, her sister Glenda Turner, her brother Norman Headman, 2 grandsons and a granddaughter,
