Melody Mobo Vincent, affectionately known to her  family as "Jinky", was born on February 4, 1970, in Kalibo, Aklan, Philippines. She was the youngest of eleven children born to Leonel Leyson Mobo and Jovita Llanes Fuentes.

Melody spent her life cherishing every moment and building a legacy of love and joy. Most recently, she resided in Santaquin, Utah, where she created lasting memories with her family. She passed away peacefully at her home on October 13, 2024.

As a devoted wife to Jeff Vincent and a loving mother to her children - Tennyson David II and his wife Ashlyn Renner, Ethan Montgomery and his wife Tori Renner, Garrett Liam Renner, and Tristen Levi Cecil - as well as her stepchildren Lauren and her husband Justin Cole, Macee and her husband Brandon Bennett, Carter and his wife Allie Vincent, Emrey Vincent and step-grandchild Brooklyn Cole and two future grandchildren, Melody embraced her role as a nurturing figure. She enjoyed the company of her puppy, Biscuit. She was known for her caring, loving and friendly nature, which impacted the lives of everyone who had the pleasure of knowing her.

Melody had a passion for adventure, and her adventurous spirit led her to find joy in the places she visited around the globe. She loved to explore the great outdoors while camping. She enjoyed movie nights. Her favorite foods included chips, chocolate, and spaghetti. She often brought family and friends together for shared meals and laughter and enjoyed her family's Sunday dinner.

Melody began her advanced education at Garcia College of Technology in Kalibo, Aklan, Philippines and she continued her studies at De La Salle University and STI pursing a Cobol and Algorithm Programming.

In 1991, Melody came to the United States and pursued Cybersecurity & IT training at George Mason University in Virginia and Ethical Hacking at MITRE or New Horizons Training Center. She attended Strayer University in Leesburg, Virginia, and earned a degree in Network Engineering. Additionally, she pursued training in Web Stack Development programming.

Professionally, Melody was a skilled computer programmer, showcasing her intelligence and dedication to her career. She worked at highly regarded establishments such as Hill Air Force Base, the Library of Congress, Raytheon, and many other institutions.

She was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, and her faith played a significant role in her life, guiding her through challenges and enriching her interactions with others.

Melody was welcomed on the other side of the veil by her father Leonel Leyson Mobo, older sisters Melanie Fuentes Mobo, Jovita Fuentes Mobo, and her older brothers Melvin Fuentes Mobo and Leonel Leyson Mobo Jr.

Melody is survived by her loving family, including her mother, Jovita Fuentes Mobo, and her siblings: Marilyn and her husband Chris Burgoyne, Marivel and her husband Doug Jones, Marlon Fuentes Mobo, Marites and her husband Jack Coomer, Melinda Fuentes Mobo and her husband Kirk Brownlee, and Malony and his wife Bessy Mobo - as well as nieces, and nephews.

Melody's kind and loving personality will be greatly missed by everyone who knows her.
