Malinda was born August 26, 1964, in Alhambra, CA to John and Mary Jo Edwards. She graduated from Moses Lake High School in Moses Lake, WA . Malinda attended college at Stevens-Heneager Business College in Provo, UT and BYU Idaho in Rexburg, ID.



Malinda held many professional positions in her lifetime from Grant writing, zoning projects to legal offices and the tourism industry in Moab, UT. Later due to health issues she was unable to work full time.



Malinda was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day-Saints, holding many positions of service. She loved to attend the Temple and did often. She was a Temple worker. She was always willing to help others and was involved in many humanitarian projects. Malinda frequently hosted dancers for the International Dance Festival.



Survivors include her son Tylor (Cassandra) Fogle of Tampa, FL; her daughters, Kendra (Kevin) Merrill of Rexburg, ID and Haley (Landen) Dickey of Oceanside, CA. Four grandchildren, Kailyn and Karlee Merrill and Lincoln Dickey and Adelaide Fogle. Her Parents, John and Mary Jo Edwards of Yakima, WA. Three sisters Dawn (Steve) Parker, of Lincoln, AL; Becci (Noel) DeFrank of Toney, AL and Amanda (Pete) Rasmussen of Colorado Springs, CO. Two brothers, Wescott (Murrena) Edwards of Yakima, WA and Preston (Cheri) Edwards of Lawrenceville, GA. Numerous nieces and nephews.



Services will be held Saturday, August 16, 2014. A viewing will be held at 9am followed by services at 10am at 950 W Center St., Springville, UT. No graveside service will follow.
