Madge Shepherd

October 18, 1921 — January 6, 2014

Madge was born on October 18, 1921 to Edwin James and Adelaide Roberts Thrasher in Lehi, UT. Madge received her education in Lehi Schools.



She married Leo Edward Dickerson February 18, 1942. Together they had 2 children; Lee and Sue. they made their home in Provo in 1949. Leo died in 1960. She married Garth Shepherd in 1976, he died in 1998.



She loved working in her yard, doing crafts, crocheting, and Quilting. She was a member of the Good Sam Club (Tumbleweeds), Lady Elks, and the LDS Church. She volunteered for several years at the Spanish Fork Senior Center in the kitchen.



She is survived by her children; Lee Dickerson (Karen), Sue Draney (Kevin) and 2 brothers; Blaine and Kent (Deann) Thrasher. She leaves a great legacy of 6 grandchildren, and 19 Great-Grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Leo and Garth; Parents, Grand-Daughter, 4 sisters and 2 brothers.



The Family would like to give a special thanks to the staff at the Beehive Home of Spanish Fork for the loving care they sahred for her, also to Intermountain Hospice.



Funeral services will be held at 11a.m. on Friday, January 10, 2014 in the LDS Church (Kimball Building), 1750 E 750 S, Spanish Fork. Friends may call on the family from 6-8pm, Thursday, January 9, 2013 in LDS Church and prior to services from 10-10:45am Friday. Interment will be at the Provo City Cemetery.
