Linda Drasein, 53, of Payson was reunited with the love of her life, Dennis A. Walker on January 19th, 2015. She was surrounded by her family and friends in her final hours. Linda lost her battle to lung cancer after nine months of fighting and enduring many radiation and chemo treatments.
Linda was born on May 12th, 1961 to Jimmy & Diana Andrews in Albany, Georgia. She was the third of four children. She left the 9th grade to marry the love of her life Dennis A. She later married Kory G. Drasein on December 1st, 1983. They had a daughter on May 22nd 1985, whom they named Shanteil Marie Drasein. They later divorced.
She worked for Payson Nursing & Rehab/ Parkway Nursing & Rehab in the Housekeeping/Laundry Department for approximately four years and absolutely loved working with the elderly. She was a very caring & giving person and would go out of her way to make anyone and everyone happy or help them. People often referred to her as an amazing, generous and loving woman. She will be greatly missed by many.

We would like to thank Encompass Home Health & Hospice for helping with her care and making sure she was comfortable during her final days. The family would like to extend a special thanks to a special person for generously donating some funds to help out with final expenses. The family will be holding services on their own at a later date and will be announcing them as soon as possible. An account has been established in Linda Drasein's name at Wells Fargo to help with her final expenses.
