Kyle Grant Christensen, born June 21, 1984. Our loving son, brother, grandson, uncle, nephew, cousin and friend, went home Saturday, April 4th, 2015.
He was a talented artist and writer, and he loved to play the guitar. He expressed himself through his many tattoos, each one had its own special meaning and a lot of thought went into each and every one of them. Anyone that got the pleasure of reading his numerous poems, thoughts and stories wanted him to write just one more for them. He had many stories that he started but never got the chance to finish. He could cook anything that he had a desire to cook and would not share many of his recipes; he made everything from scratch and in his own way. He put 100% into everything that he did so that it was perfect. It did not matter how much time or thought it took.
Kyle loved to hang out with his friends and loved family get togethers. He enjoyed camping and hanging out all night under the stars with a campfire burning. Kyle was not a follower; he was a leader. He brought smiles and laughter with just a little joke or his contagious laugh. He was so loving and wanted to make sure that everyone around him was ok and that they knew they were loved.
He was attending Utah Valley University studying to become an anthropologist; he would have been a great one.
He is survived by his parents Shauna Davis Barnes (Kip) and Michael Christensen; siblings Tyson Christensen, Daisha Anderson and Tezz Barnes; niece Marley Christensen; grandparents Sharon Matthews (Howard "Mac") and Roger and Sherri Christensen and numerous cousins. He is preceded in death by his grandpa Stephen Davis and his great grandparents.
Family and friends are invited to attend a celebration of his life on Saturday, April 11th, 2015 at 1040 S. 850 E. Springville, Utah starting at 11:00 am.
You will be greatly missed, may you be free of your physical and mental pains. We love you Kyle. Fly high and free big brother.
