Kimberlie Sue Jensen passed away December 17, 2024, at the age of 64 after a two-year hard-fought battle with cancer.
Born in Cedar Rapids, Iowa she was raised on the farm in Troy Mills Iowa where she became very fond of goats and cats. Early on in her childhood, her family moved to California, where she became enchanted with the beaches and the ocean. In 1976, her family moved to Utah where she fell in love with the mountains, and found the love of her life, Stan Jensen. In 1979, Kimberlie became an Army Wife and moved to Washington where her husband served at Ft. Louis. A year after, they had their first son, Jeramie, and after her husband’s three years of military service, they moved back to Utah where they had another son, Randy.
Kim was a loving, kind, and very genuine person who made friends easily, and people were drawn to her kindness as her radiant smile brightened the room and filled the spirit of those that were around her. Kimberlie was a loving wife, mother, sister, grandmother, and friend who will be sorely missed by many. She was a sincere woman who always put everyone else first before herself, especially her grandchildren.
Although Kimberlie has passed, her memory and kindness will live within all those that have loved her.
She is survived by her husband Stan Jensen; her children, Jeramie Jensen (Lucia), Randy Jensen; her mother, Maneta M. Hunter, her other mother Ellie Hamad Scott (Buford) and her father’s widow, Becky Hunter; grandchildren, Orion Jensen, Kody Jensen, Abigail Jensen, Nadine Jensen, Sophie Jensen, and Rayan Monteiro; siblings, Tracie Morgan, Jeff Hunter (Natalie), Bethany Horn (Aaron), Creed Hunter (Brittany), Jill Vane (Joe), Lori Sweeney (Kurt), Dave Hamad, Rick Hamad (Staci), Robyn Hamad, and Mekesha Boger (Wes). She is proceeded in death by her father, John G. Hunter, grandparents, Jesse and Mildred Hunter, John and Alice Baker, Ted and Elsie Thorson, brother-in-law, Terry Morgan, sister-in-law, Kim Hamad, nephew, Michael Upah, niece, Liberty Boger, and her beloved Great Pyrenees, Samson.
