Kaylen Otten

July 12, 1991 — April 6, 2019

Kaylen Marie Otten (KK) was born on July 12th, 1991 weighing in at 14.5 oz and 10.5 inches long. She left her earthly body on Saturday, April 6th, 2019, peacefully surrounded by family. Kaylen is the daughter of Terri Jensen Otten and Glen and Megan Otten, sister of Nicholas Otten (Camille), Keltsy McBride (Dustin), Ellie, Dylan, Carson and Samantha Otten.

Kaylen courageously fought to stay on this earth for 27 years, knowing she had much work to do before returning to her Father in Heaven. In that time, she taught us love, patience, humility and acceptance of the many different challenges as we all face. She taught us tremendous courage by example. There are simply no words to express the amount of gratitude for the love and tenderness shown to her by Nicholas and Keltsy who gave freely to assist her in any way as brother and sister, along with countless family, friends and caregivers throughout her life. Our family was blessed with kindness and support beyond measure. Thank you to all who touched our lives through Kaylen. You provided comfort and care from the love in your hearts. We would like to give special thank you to Topham's Tiny Tots and the family of Russel and Tammy Rasmussen for several years of care. Also, to the staff at Utah Valley Hospital Emergency Department and ICU.

She was met in loving arms in heaven by grandparents Richard and Betty Jensen, and EllaRae Otten. She is survived by her grandfather Leaun Otten and many other family members.
