Justin Lamar Hancock, 42, of Payson, UT lost his lifelong battle to addiction on Dec 7, 2016. He was born May 1, 1974 to Lars J. and Kathleen Hancock. He attended Payson High School and resided in Payson.
He is survived by his son, the light of his life, Seth Kenney Hancock and his sister Sadie Kenney, parents Lars J. (Sarah) Hancock of Payson, UT and Kathleen Larsen O'Meara of Elk Grove, CA, brother Quinn (Melissa) Hancock of Orem, UT and sisters Alicia Chappell of Payson, UT and Dawn (Randi Robbins) Hancock of American Fork, UT, step sisters Karen (Tyler) Edwards of Payson, UT and Kimberly (Adam) Harmon of Salt Lake, UT.
He was a dedicated and loving father. He had a love for music, hunting and fishing. His body was troubled but his heart was giving.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Wednesday, December 14, 2016 at the Payson 3rd Ward, 274 S. Main Street, Payson, Utah. There will be a viewing from 9:30 to 10:45 a.m. prior to services at the church. Interment will be at the Mt. Pleasant Cemetery. To express condolences visit www.LegacyFunerals.com
