Judy Mcdonald

December 28, 1955 — August 23, 2013

Judy Kaye McDonald, age 57, passed away on August 23, 2013 at her home in Provo, Utah. With her husband and family at her side, Judy took her last breath. Despite being told that her end was near, she denied that she was going to leave. With strength and determination, she fought to stay here after a very short battle with cancer.

Judy was born on December 28, 1955 to Larae and Faye Dallin of Springville, Utah. She attended school in Springville, and later attended Hollywood Beauty College in Provo, Utah. Judy married Wayne McDonald on April 6, 1980. With children from previous relations, Judy and Wayne added two more children to complete their large family.

Judy and Wayne spent their last years together traveling on their Harley, and felt that they were "Stuck like Glue". They spent time visiting family, and enjoying life with their great friends. Judy loved her husband, children, family, and friends. Her close friends were her family, too.

Judy's hobbies included traveling with her husband on their motorcycle, crocheting, and spending time with her loved ones. She had a love for eagles, and enjoyed some of life's simple things, such as pretty nail polish. Judy believed in luck, and would never pass a penny that was heads up without picking it up and carrying in her pocket for days.

During her last moments, Judy was able to show her loved ones how much she cared for them. She said to her husband "You're Amazing", and continued to interact with those around her despite her sickness. Prior to passing, she stated, "The rain feels amazing". Her passing was then preceded and followed by the rain.

Judy is survived by her husband Wayne, mother Faye Dallin, sister Nancy (Dennis) Baker, brother Keith (Denise) Dallin; 7 children: Gina (Terry) Henriod, Darcy McDonald, Jaramie (Hilary) Carter, Kristy (Corey) Clayton, Kary Davis, Tiffany (Lincoln) Op't Hof, and Jessica (Westley) Bowen; 13 grandchildren with one on the way.

A viewing will be held from 6 to 8 pm on Sunday, August 25, 2013 at Legacy Funeral Home, 3595 N. Main Street, Spanish Fork, UT. Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 26, 2013 at 11:00 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, 85 South 900 East, Provo, UT. A viewing will be held prior to services from 9:30 to 10:45 am at the church. Interment will be at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery.

Wayne and family, we loved Judy so very much ! We will miss all the fun times we had riding together ! She was always the life of the party ! She never wanted to call a good time to an end, and she went out that way, never wanting to call it the end. We want to thank your family for accepting us as part of your family, and will stay that way !

Love you all,

Rick and Chris

Wayne, Debi and I were sorry to hear about Judy. We haven't seen you for a long time but enjoyed being neighbors in Provo many years ago. You and Judy built a great life together. Love is eternal.
