Jess Allred

March 1, 1982 — February 17, 2017

Jess Johnson Allred, age 35, of Salt Lake City passed away Friday, February 17th at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center surrounded by his loving family.



For many years, Jess fought a courageous battle of drug addiction that eventually took him from us too soon. Jess was extremely talented with his ability to hear music, he could play any song on the guitar and it would sound like the original artist or better. He loved his niece and nephews and was so proud to brag them up to everyone.



Jess graduated from Landmark High School and attended Utah Valley University. Jess was currently employed at the Restaurant Depot in Salt Lake City, Utah.



Preceded in death by his lovely parents Gary Clark Allred and Karen Johnson Allred, Hefa Reggie Tuita (brother-in-law), Fred Johnson, Clark and Gwenda Allred (grandparents) and many close friends.



Survived by his siblings Karley Tuita, Adam Allred (Jamie Coombs), Faye Johnson (grandmother) Hefa Tuita, Soane Tuita, Tu'iNiua Tuita, Asher Gary Allred (nephews) Ryah Allred, Taliya Richards, Maezie Coombs (nieces) and several supportive aunts, uncles, cousins,and friends. Also the love of his life Tawni Lucero and daughters Lily, and Alyssa



The family would like to express their thanks and appreciation to the first responders and the wonderful care given to Jess in the ICU at Salt Lake Regional Medical Center.



Funeral services will be held Friday, February 24th at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Fork East Meadows Ward, 1552 East 750 South, Spanish Fork, UT. Friends and family may call at the viewing prior to the funeral from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the church.
