Roger Jeremy Evans, 43, passed away at his home in Spanish Fork on January 5, 2015. He was born to Roy and Kathleen Evans on June 5, 1971 in Provo, Utah.
He was raised in Mapleton where he attended Mapleton Elementary. He graduated from Springville High School. He was an Eagle Scout and also served a LDS mission in Nashville, Tennessee. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed four wheeling and hunting. He was a huge fan of the Utah Utes. GO UTES!
He married Lisa Turner in July 1994. They had two children Jacob and Stacia and later divorced. He met and married the love of his life Melanie Johnson on June 14, 2002. Melanie had Mikayla and Dallin who were later adopted by Jeremy in 2005. His wife and children were the joy of his life. He was always there for friends and family with open arms and willing to help.
Jeremy is preceded in death by his grandmother Cleola Evans and a cousin Brad Lemon. Jeremy is survived by his parents, wife, children and siblings Annette (Jess), James (Trisha), Jared (Autumn), John (Angie), Katie (Bill) and Joshua (Shasta). Grandparents Roger and Ruth Evans and Norman and Lois Graves.
A viewing will be held Saturday January 10, 2015 from 10-11:30 am with services to follow at 12 Noon at the Crosswinds 3rd Ward, 1660 South 1400 East, Spanish Fork, Utah. Interment will be in the Spanish Fork Cemetery.
