Jean Zubal

Our Mom, Jean Aileen Crosby Zubal, age 89, peacefully left this earthly life for the glory of life everlasting in the early hours of May 18, 2019. She was born August 31, 1929 to James S. and Ruth Frandsen Crosby. She grew up in Price and Dragerton, Utah and was a proud member of the Carbon High Class of 1947. She married our Dad, Jim Zubal on March 31, 1948, they were later sealed in the Salt Lake Temple. He preceded her in death in 2007. Although they lived in various places, Carbon County was always home to Mom. She last lived in Carbonville for many years and enjoyed her years as a substitute teacher at Carbon High School.



She is survived by her daughters, Joan (Ron) Felice of Price, Jama (Jim) Rand of Lake Stevens, WA and son Frank (Jacqueline) Zubal of Sandy, UT and her sister Zella Crosby Leary of Salt Lake, and sisters-in-law Iris Booco Doolin and Peggy Booco and brother-in-law Duke Booco. She is also survived by her 10 grandchildren: Douglas Felice, Johanna Felice Barraco, Elizabeth Felice, Paul and John Rand, Nathan, Spencer, Ashton and Preston Zubal and 13 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great granddaughter. Her beloved daughters, Paula Jeanne and Julia Ruth and great-granddaughter Mikala preceded her in death.



We are grateful for the loving care she received from her Hospice Nurse, Linda and the caregivers at Legacy House in Spanish Fork. We will miss our Mom but we know her most important questions are now answered and she can be at peace. A graveside service will be held at the Price City Cemetery Thursday, May 23 at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation in Mom's name to Primary Children's Hospital.
