May 20th, 2020 - May 6th, 2023



It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of James Jensen on May 6th, 2023, in Provo, Utah. James was born prematurely at 24 weeks weighing just 1.5 pounds on May 20th, 2020 in Provo, Utah to Lexi Jensen. While James battled many chronic health issues throughout his short life, he remained a beacon of strength and hope for all those who knew him. His resilience in the face of adversity was nothing short of remarkable, and his unwavering courage was an inspiration to all. James brought immeasurable joy to his family, friends, and medical team. His unbreakable spirit and relentless determination were truly awe-inspiring, and he touched the hearts of all those who had the honor of knowing him.



Despite the challenges he faced, James never lost his infectious smile, his sense of wonder, and his love for the simple joys in life. He loved going for walks in the wagon, even if it was just around the halls of the hospital. He loved Spider-Man, splashing in the bathtub, blowing bubbles, snuggling with his mama, and reading books with his sister Zoie and brother Zander.



While his passing is a great loss, his memory will live on in the hearts of all those who knew him and loved him. His remarkable spirit and bravery will continue to inspire and motivate us all, and we will never forget the joy he brought to our lives.



James is survived by his Mama, Lexi Jensen; big sister, Zoie; big brother, Zander; grandmother, Judy Jensen; grandfather, Carl Jensen; and many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. He is preceded in death by his great-grandmothers, Darlene Jensen and LaDawn Davis; and his great-grandfather, James Larry Forbes.



It has been a pleasure to have had James in our life for the time that we did. We find comfort and knowledge that our precious little boy touched the lives of so many and will always be remembered with love and admiration.



We want to thank all the Doctors, Nurses, Respiratory Therapists, Pharmacists, PCTs, EMTs, Officers, Life Flight, friends, and family who were involved with the care of James throughout his life, and the love and care shown to Lexi, Zoie, and Zander. Thanks for loving us and taking such good care of our James.



Fly High little buddy, we will miss you and your amazing laugh and smile.



A viewing for James will be held Monday, May 15th, 2023, at the Sharon Park 6th Ward building, 225 East 200 North Orem, UT from 9 am - 11 am. Graveside Services will follow the viewing at 11:30 am at the Orem City Cemetery, 1520 North 800 East Orem, UT. A luncheon will be provided for Family and Friends following the services back at the Sharon Park 6th Ward building.
