Jacob Jon Robertson, 42, passed away unexpectedly on June 28, 2023 in Midvale, Utah.
Jacob Jon Hasley Robertson was born on April 5,1981, in Lawton Oklahoma, where he
announced his arrival with a war cry befitting his Comanche DNA, a true warrior. He was a world traveler at an early age and fondly remembered the places he saw and lived. In his life, Jacob had many adventures, loves, moments of sweet joy, laughter, sorrow and touched many lives.
His beautiful eyes and bright smile brought light and love from the beginning, and stayed with him until he passed away on June 28, 2023, fighting the demons of addiction, a battle to the very end. In his passing, he has transcended, his presence a being of Love, an ancient soul giving comfort and encouragement to those he loves.
He lived life to the fullest every day. He had a deep belly laugh that would fill the room, and was not ashamed to show his sorrow, with tears that flowed from a heavy heart. He was smart and could do nearly anything he set his mind to. You knew when he got that sparkle in his eye something was up, and you were in for an adventure. He was so complex and clever that really nothing would have stopped him from achieving his goals. As he is a thread woven into the tapestry of our lives, everyone has their Jake memories and moments. He touched our hearts and is now celebrating with his ancestors and friends who have passed on, no doubt teasing the pets he loved so dearly.
He left behind so many, his mom Darlene, father Johnnie, dad Wendell and grandma Carolyn; brothers Jessie, Matt, Zack, Rick and Patrick, and sisters Chelsea and Fay; his children, daughter Keyana and her mother Kaitlin and Grandma Sue; his son Hayden and his sister Aalyiah and their mother Felicia and grandma Diana; along with a large group of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and friends. Each are part of his large extended and diverse family. Because of him we are all family. Jake will watch over us, especially over his mom Darlene, whose body is bound on earth for a time, but her spirit is free.
Soar with the eagles and carry your light into the stars where we will meet again.
