Jack Jeffrey Martin, age 5, of Springville, Utah, passed away unexpectedly on January 12, 2015, at Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake City, Utah. During his too-brief tenure on this earth, Jack brought vibrancy and light to his home, church, and everywhere he went. He enjoyed attending preschool at Art City Elementary and also loved to spend time with his parents, brothers and sister, and friends. His natural curiosity led him to explore, question, and learn at every possible turn throughout his life. His inquisitive nature, joy for living, and sweet personality will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
Jack is survived by his parents, Jeffrey and Stacy; twin brother, Tate; brother, Avery; sister, Katey; grandparents: Brent Hodgkinson, Ronald and Joan Martin, Lyn and Keith Webster; great-grandparents, Raymond and Deanne Madsen; and many loving cousins, uncles, aunts, friends, classmates, and neighbors.
Funeral services will be held Friday, January 16, 2015, 11:00 AM, at the Springville West LDS Stake Center, 996 West Center Street, Springville, Utah. Viewings will be held on Thursday, January 15, from 6:00-8:00 PM and Friday, January 16, from 9:30-10:30 AM, both at the LDS Stake Center. Interment will follow the services in the Springville City Cemetery.
Jack's parents and siblings gratefully acknowledge the tremendous outpouring of love and support showered upon them by family, friends, neighbors, and colleagues during this time.
