Idell Larsen

On Monday February 17, 2014 we said goodbye to our loving mother and dear friend Idell Gaylene Larsen. She passed away in Provo, Utah surrounded by those that loved her. Mom, we love you more than words could ever say. Thank you for your love and support. Kyliana and Layne will be lost without their grandma.



Idell was born on September 8, 1960 to Vincent and Carolyn Ortega in Price, Utah. She was raised in Pleasant Grove, Utah where she made her present home but she also spent some time living in Washington state. She gave 20 years of dedicated work at the Utah State Developmental Center and also spent many of her last few years caring for all the special children in her life. She is survived by her two children Kim and Matthew, two grandchildren Layne and Kyliana Christopher, two brothers Monty and Shane (Lisa) and a sister Melanie Maxfield. She was preceded in death by her parents Vincent and Carolyn Ortega. The number of lives that she touched is many more than we can list here.



A celebration of her life will take place on Sunday February 23rd for close friends and family. Graveside memorial services will be held on Monday February 24th at 2:00pm at the Lehi cemetery. Billy Sandoval will be leading us in prayer for that service.
