Eric Brent Tischner, 42, of Santaquin, Utah, passed away peacefully at IMC in Murray, Utah on Saturday, February 10, 2018 from a massive stroke, due to complications from a previous surgery.
He was born on January 16, 1976, in Murray, Utah, to Brent and Reta Tischner of Salem, Utah. He was proud of his distinction as the first of seven brothers, all of whom he loved dearly.
He married Andrea Ercanbrack and was the father of Haylee (Nick), Levi (deceased) and Hagen. The marriage later ended in divorce. He married the love of his life and best friend, Robyn Lowe on September 6. 2014.
He was employed as a painter for Bob Brockbank Painting and loved Bob and Sue as second parents.
He was presently employed by Best Vinyl Fence and Deck, being the recipient of the unique comradery of his fellow colleagues and contributed daily to the 'BV team.' He loved his job and those he worked with.
He loved the outdoors, whether hunting, camping, four-wheeling or just being together with family. He was a hard worker and took pride in the finished product. He and Robyn purchased their first home in Santaquin and delighted in the remodel of their pride and joy 'Cottage on the Corner.' They spent hours together, furnishing and decorating the inside, which is a true reflection of their shared love for Pinterest! He truly employed his expertise with wood at home and with family and friends. The workshop is mourning his absence.
His family joked about him as having 'nine lives' with his numerous brushes with death throughout his life, and as of his passing, the count was 11!
He leaves behind his wife, Robyn, daughter, Haylee (Nick) Raile, son, Hagen, parents, Brent and Reta Tischner, Salem; brothers, Micah (Krista), Santaquin; Chad (Nayeli), Payson; Robert, Salt Lake; Troy (Chrystal) Salem; Cody (Molly), Santaquin, in-laws Lee and Pat Fenton, brother/sister in-law, Clay (Wendy) Fenton, adoring nieces and nephews, Robyn's daughter, Shaley (Justin) Fenton, Robyn's son, Cody (Averee) Lowe, and step-grandson Hudson Lowe. He was preceded in death by his infant brother, John Richard, his beloved infant son, Levi, step-son Cheston Lowe & cherished grandparents. They were there to welcome him 'home!'
He was truly a devoted husband, a proud father, a loving son, a true brother & a favorite uncle.
A celebration of his life will include a viewing on Friday, February 16 from 6-8 p.m. at the LDS meeting house located at 45 S. 500 West in Santaquin, Utah. The funeral will be held on Saturday, February 17th at 11:00 a.m. with a viewing from 9:30-10:30 at the same location.
Internment will be in the Fairview, Utah Cemetery at 3:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family would appreciate donations to offset medical expenses.
