Eliseo Jacob Alama sadly passed away at the age of 44 years young on August 17, 2024, in Provo Utah Medical Center from complications of cardiopulmonary disease.
He was born on May 14, 1980, in Salt Lake City Utah to the parents of Betty Ortega Mendoza and Howard Roy Alama, He attended Independence High School in his younger days, He was a lifetime Utah resident.
When he wasn’t working, He decided to dedicate most of his life to helping raise his nieces and nephews, which he loved more than anything in this world. Even though he didn’t attend church, he was still very spiritual and enjoyed prayers from time to time. He was an avid anime fanatic with collections from ear to ear. He was a big movie buff and could quote every movie he ever saw with his favorite movie being “The Other Sister” and his favorite actor was Jim Carrey. It was well known that he was a Marvel enthusiast and knew everything about every character known to mankind, His favorite sports team was the San Francisco 49ers. He was the biggest comedian in the family, and without him, the world will be a sadder place without his jokes and laughter!
He’s preceded in death by both his parents and two sisters Stephanie and Mandy, He’s survived by his siblings Patrick Alama of Springville UT, Howard Alama of Springville UT, Michelle Cordova of Spanish Fork UT, Jonathon Alama of Springville UT, Dominick (Shayla) Castillo of Spanish Fork UT, Daisy Sanchez of Ogden UT, Nicholas (Michael) Valdez of Spanish Fork UT. He’s also survived by 10 nieces and 8 nephews.
We want to thank the staff at Utah Valley Hospital for their loving care they provided Jacob. Along with all the family and friends who were a part of his life. Nothing was more important to Jacob than his family and friends. He never met a stranger that he didn’t turn into a friend!.
