Donna Marie Steele Robertson, age 88, passed away peacefully in her home\nsurrounded by her family on September 7, 2019 in Springville, Utah.\n\nDonna was born October 20, 1930 in Nephi, Utah to Hyrum Dellwin Steele and\nDorothea Marie Olsen Steele. She was the oldest of 7 children. She grew up in\nNephi, Utah. She loved her childhood and would often say "sure had a lot of fun."\n\nDonna married the love of her life, Joseph Lynn Robertson, on September 21,\n1949, in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He preceded her in death on April 5, 2006.\nWhat a joyous reunion she is having.\n\nShe had great faith and a strong testimony of the gospel of Jesus Christ and was\nan active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She served\nfaithfully in many callings and many years in the Provo LDS Temple. She was a\nmember of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers.\n\nDonna was a homemaker who loved gardening, all flowers, the outdoors, and\ncamping with her family, especially at Hop Creek Hide Away in Nephi Canyon. She\nserved on the Women's Council Artist Section. She was a gifted artist who\npainted many scenic pictures and portraits of her grandchildren. She loved life to\nthe fullest and enjoyed spending time with her family.\n\nShe is survived by her 5 children; Mike (Lynette) of Springville, Steve (Kathie) of\nOrem, Marilyn Bagley (Lynn) of Moroni, Jerry (Sherilyn) of Alpine, Joe (Jill) of\nSalem along with 21 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren and two great-great\ngrandchildren; three brothers, Bob, Keith, Jerry Steele and sister, Kathy Johnson.\nShe was also preceded in death by her parents, sister Carol Downey, and brother\nDenny Steele.\n\nFuneral Services will be held on Saturday September 14, 2019, at 11:00 am in the\nSpring Creek Stake Center at 760 N. 400 E. in Springville. There will be a viewing\nheld Friday evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Stake Center, and Saturday morning\n9:30-10:45. Burial will be in the Spanish Fork Cemetery.\n\nWe want to give a big Thank You to her nurse Carol and for Marisela at Brio\nHospice Care for their wonderful loving care to our mother.
