Daisy Lambson Boyd, age 93, loving mother and grandmother, passed away Friday, July 18th, 2014 in Lehi, Utah. Daisy was born Feb 1, 1921 in Closson, New Mexico to Eugene Lambson and Sarah Clawson Lambson. Her spouses were Paul Dean Merrill, Lenton Charles Swilling and Russell Arch Boyd. She lived a rich, colorful life. She owned and operated the Daisy Malt Shop in Ramah, New Mexico for 20 years with her father. As a faithful member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints she also served four full-time missions in the Navajo Lamanite Mission with her father, the Texas Louisiana Mission, the West Virginia genealogical mission, and 12 years as a Dallas Temple ordinance worker. Daisy loved the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
She was preceded in death by her parents and three brothers, Bob, Ray and Glenn Lambson. She is survived by her three children, Paul Dean Merrill II of Ramah, New Mexico, Lenton Sue Gray of Park City, Kansas, Jeanette Hauth of Little Elm, Texas, 12 grandchildren, and 32 great-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. on Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in the Ramah ward building of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Ramah, New Mexico.
