Clifton Jenson

May 10, 1932 — January 30, 2017

Our cherished and beloved father, grandfather, brother, friend and fishing buddy returned home to his loving Heavenly Father, on Monday Jan 30, 2017.

Clifton was born on May 10, 1932 in Delta Utah to George W. and Sophronia Watson Jenson.

Clifton married his eternal sweetheart on June 25, 1952 in the Manti Temple and later raised their family in Spanish Fork, Utah.

Together Cliff and Lois worked hard in their yard to create beautiful flower beds; vegetable and fruit gardens. Cliff loved bottling fruit in the fall and spent a great deal of time pruning trees and creating perfection and beauty in his back yard that his whole family greatly enjoyed.

Cliff dedicated 25 years of hard work to the Rio-Grande Motor Way in Provo. Cliff and Lois would supplement their income each fall by traveling to Nevada and California to gather pine-nuts to sell. In later years Cliff enjoyed going to the storage auctions and re-selling. Many people left his sales happy; enjoying finding treasures for a great bargain. He was known to have many loyal customers. He would easily strike up a conversation with anyone, anywhere, was honest in all he did and incredibly generous.

Cliff was an active member of the LDS church where he served in many callings throughout the years; including ward executive secretary, scout master and high priest group leader. He had a deep love for the outdoors; camping, hunting and fishing. He taught his children and grandchildren to appreciate the simple pleasures of life.

We know Cliff is joyfully meeting with his beloved wife and son, though there are many who will greatly miss him here.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife Lois, four brothers Rulon, Robert, Grant and LeVar; sister Lillian; his son Stephen (Marsha) and a great-grandson Brycen. He is survived by his daughter Clea (Paul) Newman, and son Bradley (Christa), along with four sisters Thelma, Jeanne, Carol, Shirley, ten grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held Saturday, February 4, 2017 at 11:00 am. at the Spanish Fork Ward Chapel 310 E. Center St. Spanish Fork, Ut. Family and friends may visit at the church on Friday evening from 6:00-8:00pm and Saturday morning from 10:00-10:45am
