Christopher Debbs Baysinger, 45, passed away unexpectedly on June 19, 2016 of natural causes in Spanish Fork, UT, while visiting family. Affectionately called Chris by close family and friends. He was born on June 27, 1970 in Oxnard, Ca. His parents were John and Faye Baysinger. He grew up in Oxnard and attended Channel Islands High School. He went on to study History and Politics at the University of California, Santa Cruz, where he was a member of the Theta Chi - Theta Iota chapter Fraternity. After graduating from UCSC, he continued to study his interests and became self-employed.



Chris enjoyed golfing, cooking, walking, sailing, genealogy, history and politics. He was passionate about researching his family history and reaching out to distant relatives all over the globe. Chris loved his family and enjoyed being an uncle to his nieces and nephew. He was always silly and fun with them, making them smile as much as he could. He was a kind, thoughtful, and loving son and brother who never forgot a birthday or special occasion.



Chris is preceded in death by his mother Faye Baysinger and leaves behind his father John Baysinger, brother Matthew Baysinger, sisters Melissa (Baysinger) Rice, her husband John, Jennifer (Baysinger) Zeledon, and her husband Eddy Zeledon. He will also be missed by his nieces and nephew, Daisy, Lily and Stan.



Chris was a kind hearted son, brother, uncle and friend. His free-spiritedness will be truly missed by all those who came to know him and his memory will always stay in the hearts of those who loved him.



A private service will be held for Chris in Ventura, CA.
