Cecelia Constance Peppin died at age 83 on September ,2024. She passed away with her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren all at her bedside.
Cecelia was born to Edward and Esther Moyle in Virginia Minnesota. She married her high school sweetheart, Donald Peppin in January 1958. Later to be sealed in the Idaho Falls Temple, August 1963, for time and all eternity.
Preceded in death by Son: Mark Peppin, July 1971. Husband : Donald George Peppin, September 2018. Siblings, Dudley Moyle and Lois Cameron, and parents Edward and Esther Moyle. Also Granddaughter in-law Holly Myrup, and Great grandson Nick Ferguson.
She is survived by children Julie (Reed) Pagliarini, Donald Jr. (Sandra) Peppin, Tamara (Kelly) Myrup, Kevin Peppin, Sherri (John) Miner. She is also survived by two brothers , Kenneth Moyle, and Stuart Moyle Sr.
She met her husband when he would deliver newspapers to the house and her older brothers would always tease her that her "boyfriend was here", when he would come to collect payment for paper. During their early marriage work was hard to find that would support a growing family and went to many places from North Dakota to Seattle Washington. Eventually they where able to build their dream home in the country outside of Eveleth, Minnesota
Cecelia was one the first women to get hired to work at US STEEL , in maintenance department , and later worked at Inland steel as a chemist. In the Virginia, Mt.Iron Minnesota area . She was very proud of showing men that women could do it too. Though life still had more in store for them as Don transferred out to a US steel factory in Orem Utah, with 3 of their 6 children.
Then as children all grew up Cecelia wanted to go back to Minnesota to be around family there and so they moved to Bloomington Minnesota. But this was also hard because she loves to be around all her family and friends but now that they spread apart from MN to UT. It wasn't easy to be with them as easily.
She also enjoyed her time working at a hospital in radiology records filing until hospital sold and new hospital went electronic filing. They then moved back to Utah. Cecelia was able again to enjoy most all her children and grandchildren.
Her favorite past time is keeping in touch with family members no matter where they live and sharing with everyone. Her passion for the family and friends will be missed greatly.
