Carol Elizabeth Sundblom Pierce LeRoy, a longtime resident of Spanish Fork, Utah died Thursday, the 5th day of February 2015 at her home after a long illness surrounded by her family.
Carol was born on June 16, 1931 to Karl "Charles" and Leora Sundblom in Springville, Utah. She enjoyed being with her family and was always willing to help where needed. Her interests included gardening, sewing, reading and doing puzzles. Her pleasant personality, kindness towards others, her sense of humor and friendly smile will be deeply missed by all that knew her.
Carol was preceded in death by her first husband Ivan DeWitt Pierce and her second husband, James A. LeRoy, Sr., her son James C Pierce, daughter-in-law Elizabeth Ann Banks Pierce and son-in-law Marcus Carrillo. Carol is survived by her children, Barry Pierce of Seattle, Washington, Sandra Carrillo of Spanish Fork, Utah, Mark (Julie) Pierce of Fillmore, Utah, Karl (Cindy) Pierce of Milford, Utah and Tina (Doug) Blakely of Spanish Fork, Utah, her 16 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren and 1 great great grandchild.
Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm on Saturday, February 28, 2015 at the Springville Evergreen Cemetery, 1997 South 400 East, Springville, UT.
