Beverly Ann Barley (Workman)
Tooele- Beverly Ann Barley, 31, passed away surrounded by loved ones on Thursday, June 28, 2018 in St. Marks Hospital in Salt Lake City. She was born on March 28, 1987 in Newport News, Virginia to Karen Margaret Workman (Culp) and David Emmett Workman.
In her youth, Beverly lived in Great Lakes, Illinois, Adak, Alaska and Utah. Beverly was drawn to the arts, dancing in its many forms including clogging and ballroom dance. She learned to play many instruments including the violin, piano, and string bass, she worked in productions of multiple plays, sang beautifully and created her own form of mixed media artwork. She enjoyed travelling and seeing new places, including hiking the tundra of Alaska with her parents, riding her bike through the Golden Gate Park, going to the top of the Empire State building with her children, and touring Italy with a high school group.
In 2006 she reconnected with a high school friend, Nathaniel Ray Barley, and was sealed to him in the Timpanogos Temple on September 19, 2006. Together, they lived in Utah, Connecticut, and Washington before recently relocating to Tooele, Utah. Her family grew to include 5 beautiful, sweet children. Beverly was immediately loved by most who met her, with a recognizable and quirky sense of personal style, and silly sense of humor.
She is survived by her husband, Nathaniel Ray Barley, her 5 children; Emmett Ray (10), Katherine Rose (8), Aaron David (6), and twins Marissa Jean and Logan James (4), her parents; Karen and David Workman, her brother and his wife; Warren and Dora Workman, her sister and her husband; Monica and Dailey Nicholson, and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews. We will miss you FOREVER, dear sweet Beverly. You were taken from us far too soon.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday, July 3, 2018 at 11 am at the Cascade Stake Center located at 481 Center Street in Orem, UT. Viewing will be held prior to services at 9:30 am. She will be interred in the Provo Cemetery. Funeral services are in the care of Legacy Funerals and Cremations.
