Barbara Morris

Our loving Mother, Grandmother, Great-Grandmother, Sister and friend Barbara Jean Morris was called home 10/11/17 at the age of 91. Barbara was born October 20th, 1925 in Indianapolis, Indiana.



Barbara loved to garden in addition to being an amazing baker and seamstress. She was also a licensed cosmetologist. Another passion for Barbara was children, she loved children. She also had a love for fashion, naturally dressed to impress . Barbara had so many talents and love for so many different things, she volunteered her time for many years but her number one love and passion was God. She migrated to SLC from Indianapolis June of 1972 , following her heart and God. She praised god with every breath she took her faith never wavering. Her love for God and serving him was her main objective from a very young age.



Although it brings us pain to see such a beautiful soul pass on, we are glad to see she is not suffering anymore but called home to our Heavely Father whom she dedicated her life to. If anyone deserves to go to heaven it is you.



She was proceeded in Death by her 2 sons Jackie Echolos and Lawrence Echols and daughter Charlene Morris. She is survived by her two children, Valentia Morris and William Echolos, her grandchildren and over 16 great grand children.



Burial will be held Saturday 10/28/17 at 2pm Taylorsville Cemetery, 4575 S Redwood Road, Taylorsville UT 84123.
