Anita Suzanne Bare, a resident of Salt Lake City, died May 27, 2015 of cardiac arrest. She was 71 years old. She was born to Cody Lessly Bare and Juanita Hortense Atkins on July 6, 1943 in West Palm Beach, Florida where she spent her growing up years. She had 6 step siblings and one younger sister, Mary, who had Downs Syndrome. Suzanne joined the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints as a teenager and served in various church positions throughout her adult life. She completed high school and 3 years of college. Her first marriage to Robert W. Ammerman produced two precious children, Rebecca and Robert. They lived in North Carolina.
Suzanne moved to Utah where she worked as a home health aide. She lived in the homes of elderly individuals caring for them until they passed away. While in Utah, she met Buddy Olin Chadwell. They were married on September 4, 1985. Buddy brought 3 sons to the marriage. They lived several locations along the Wasatch front. While living in Provo, Suzanne worked as a food manufacturer for Nestle-Stouffers.
Though often separated from her family, Suzanne loved each member. She loved the gospel of Jesus Christ and the beauty around her. She adored long haired cats and had several throughout her life. She loved art (Oriental styles in particular) and jewelry. Her hobbies and interest include collecting gemstones, creating jewelry, arranging flowers, wreath making, cake decorating, gourmet cooking, JTV (Jewelry Television), the Dr. Oz Show, health, and nutrition.
Survivors include: Children; Rebecca G Lambert, Nathan Chadwell, and Daniel M. Chadwell.Tiffani. Grandchildren; Tiffani Drew Wallace, Chace Dakota Lambert, Kevin Chadwell, Kurtis Chadwell, and Alicia Chadwell. Great-Grandchid; Karma Grace Rothrock.
A viewing will be held at 1:00 p.m. followed by funeral services at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 3, 2015 at the McKinley Ward LDS Chapel, 1883 S West Temple, Salt Lake City, UT. Interment will be at Elysian Burial Gardens, 1075 East 4580 South, Salt Lake City, UT.
