Angela Smith

June 21, 1977 — April 16, 2016

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Angela Dawn Nielson Smith. Angela was 38 years old. She returned to her Father in heaven on April 16, 2016, due to heart failure.

Angela was born in Eldorado, Illinois, to Clifford Ray Bracknell and Beverly Renee Humphrey. She graduated from Shelby High School in 1995 in Shelby, Montana, and attended University of Montana - Missoula. She and Randon McDonough Smith were married on August 5, 1999, in the Salt Lake City Temple and have two children. Angela was a wonderful wife and mother.

She loved the skies, mountains and rivers of Montana and the beauty of Cache Valley, Utah, making and displaying her beautiful crafts and movie nights with her family. Even though she suffered for many years with fibromyalgia, Angela supported, worked with, and loved the Girl Scouts program. She and her daughter spent four years together participating in their many activities. She spent time working with VISTA (Volunteer Inservice to America) and was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints. She had a strong testimony of its truths, her loving Savior, and the Plan of Happiness.

Angela has many family members who love and miss her. She is survived by her husband, Randon McDonough Smith, her children, Nolen Michael (15), and Annie Caitlyn (12), her mother, Beverly ReNee Humphrey, sister, Brandy Nielson and loving nieces and nephews, Kendra, Savannah, Ethan, Emma, Braxton, Emma, Madelynn, Mason, Elijah, Rockwell, Steele, Cooper, Jerdin and Mckenzie and numerous friends. She was preceded in death by her loving step-father, Kenneth Nielson.

Funeral Services will be held Friday, April 22, 2016, at 11:00 a.m. at the Spanish Fork East Bench chapel, located at 1486 East 130 North, Spanish Fork, Utah. Viewings will also be held at the chapel on Thursday evening, April 21, 2016, from 7:00-8:30 pm and prior to services on Friday from 9:30-10:45 am.
